Below is a bonus tip to help you get ready for serious slam dunking! The Jump Science™ program should be used at least once each year to keep your leg muscles in tip top shape. To begin the bonus exercise first without the basketball, stand under the rim and jump up with your right hand up and your left hand at your side. Touch as high as you can with your fingertips. If you are short, maybe you can only touch the bottom of the net—that’s OK. If you are taller, maybe you can touch the top of the net, or even the rim. When you hit the ground, immediately jump up again with your left hand up and your right hand at your side.
Repeat jumping, alternating right and left hands up, touching as high as you can on the net (or over the rim) for 15 minutes! After doing this for 1 week move up to 30 minutes. Remember—this exercise is done without a basketball in-hand. All you are doing is building up your jumping muscles and coordination.
Please consult your doctor or fitness trainer before beginning any exercise program. The "Jump Science™" vertical program when used properly has given jumping gains up to 10 inches.
This program should be repeated at least twice per year for strength and vertical upkeep. For maximum
